Ruffwear sizes the Front Range, Flagline, Web Master and Hi & Light by chest girth alone; no dog weight appears on the chart. The 6 sizes run from XXXS at 9–13 in to L/XL at 32–42 in, each starting where the last one ends.

Reading this chart
The narrowest size is XXXS, covering 4 in of girth; the widest, L/XL, covers 10 in. The ranges touch at the boundaries (13 in, 17 in, 22 in, 27 in, 32 in), so only a dog measuring exactly on a boundary has a choice to make.
Ruffwear prints the same girth bands on several harnesses, but the in-between advice is not the same on every model, and only the Hi & Light goes down to XXXS:

So a dog with a 27 in rib cage, exactly on the S/M line, goes to M in a Front Range, Flagline or Hi & Light and to S in a Web Master. Ruffwear gives no dog weights at all, which is why this page cannot list breeds by size: breed standards publish height and weight, never girth.

Measure with a soft tape around the widest part of the rib cage, a hand's width behind the front legs, snug over the coat; take it twice.
